Little Mister

A couple of weeks ago, Joris and I heard some panicky meow's coming from outside. We looked over the edge of our balcony and saw a tiny black and white critter dive in to the bushes. I looked at Joris and he gave me an approving nod, after which I sped down the stairs. Not long after, I held in my arms a cute loudly purring little kitten. And you know what happened next?

My heart opened. Do you know that feeling? The feeling your chest suddenly explodes with warmth and love. Maybe it's the maternal side in me, or maybe I'm just a little over sensitive, but how can someone leave something so small outside and not worry? After taking a couple of photos (Miss Pentax rarely leaves my side) I opened the container hanging from his collar and found out this little mister lives two doors next to us.

I brought him home and his owner told me he was about 3 months, and that it was his first day outside. I didn't dare telling her my thoughts on the matter, so I guess that's why I'm telling you... I once heard that the average life span of outdoor kitties is about four years, but if you plan on having an adventurous kitty than please, at least wait until they are proper sized.

Today I heard little mister meowing outside again and we spend a good hour or so cuddling in our stairwell. Moos and Frutsel got to sniff his nose and I can almost still hear the loud purring this tiny fella produced. It was hard to let him go again, but I'm happy I was able to give him some love, because I had some extra to spare :).

Back to the coast

Growing up I used to spend entire summer days at the beach. I searched for treasures in the sand, floated in the ocean or simply slept under a parasol with the sun warming my feet and the amazing smell and sound of the sea in the background. These photos were taken a while ago on a warm day, when nothing is better than walking barefoot in the sand and sea.

Sealife

A couple weeks back my love and I visited Sealife. I'm very happy with the photos, and still madly in love with my pentax :).

Frutsel + Florals

I'm always inspired to take photos when we have pretty flowers in our home.

Especially when they bloom in a gorgeous vase.

And the cherry on the cake, a pretty Frutsel kitty sitting in front of our new floral wallpaper.

Our home is finally becoming how I want it to be :).

Farm Friends

The Pentax addiction continues, and how happy can one get from being around animals and photographing them? It amazes me.
