Dear everyone, I'm taking a little blog break. I can't tell yet when I'll be back, it might be next week, it might be next month. Please don't worry, I'm just going through some things I need to focus on right now. Although I think it would be better to keep my normal routine and keep blogging, I can't seem to make it work at the moment unfortunately. Lomo Saturday

I couldn't wait any longer and stashed the new polaroid camera with film. It took some time to get used to and this was the first (and third!) picture that somewhat succeeded, though it still isn't very clear. If only I could experiment more easily, but the film is so darn expensive... I'll save the rest for Paris ;).

In May...

Moby found a new love, whenever she's not in the bedroom, she's on this footstool. I bought it in a thriftshop a while ago to match the chair I found outside, along with many more things. Because my arms were so loaded I actually forgot to take the footstool with me after paying. When at home I completely panicked because I wanted it so bad! Luckily when we went back it was still there, something Moby is very thankful for as well :).

My favorite post in May, just in case you missed it, was this one about Ata Kandó and her beautiful book of photographs. I'm cherishing this book for-ever!

Yay for dressing up again! I have at least one more planned for June, but perhaps even more!

Fun times in the Efteling, captured with analogue camera's...

I didn't blog about our little trip to Allardsoog except for a few instagram pics, so here are some more from my Nikon. We went to Allardsoog to see Joris's large family and get in touch with nature. I was hoping to watch birds, instead we watched a lot of caterpillars. They were everywhere! The surroundings and woods in Allardsoog were so beautiful.

Last but not least a selection of my favorite a Deer a Day photos in May. The project is still running, but is getting harder each month. To make it a little more easy for myself (and because it's my project so I'm allowed to change the rules ;)) I sometimes shoot several photos in one day. I'm not ready to give up yet!

New Polaroid and a cute little lamp

On the fleamarket in Maarsbergen I found a new polaroid camera. I'm really anxious to try it out. The film came in the mail today, but I think I might save it for when I'm travelling to Paris this summer. What do you think of my cute lamp? I bought it at the All the luck in the world stand on the Sunday market. It was so nice to meet Jane, she's really lovely! A while back I received a very sweet necklace from Mrs. Dee, I wore it today. She has a lovely blog as well, make sure to visit :).

The last Efteling photos, all from the fairy tale forest. Starting with Hansel and Gretel.

Little thumbling and the sleeping giant, again with a white blur on the side. I really wonder how it happened, maybe it's some sort of light leakage? I kind of like it :)...

Not sure if I'm translating this correct, but this is the Fakir on his flying carpet :). These were the last Efteling shots. I made many more but my praktica has a strange way of not taking every picture, on the film they appear as blank like they were just skipped or something, sometimes two in a row, sometimes 3 in a row. I guess it comes with having a very old camera...
