Movie Monday
It's snowing!
Pretty soon the ice skating begins
here in the Netherlands :)! It reminded
me of a 'homemade' movie from two years
ago when friends and I were ice skating.
It's very giggly and a little upside down :D!

* Polaroid *
A while ago I bought a polaroid
onestep 600 camera on Etsy.
I had been craving a polaroid camera
for a long time and this was at a wonderful
price, so I gave in :). I waited for it to get
in to the mail, and inspected it a little. Everything
looked good as far as I could tell so I ordered film
from the impossible project , expensive but at
a lower risk than expired film from ebay.
So this week my film came in as well!
And I tried it out! And I luuuuve it!
As you can see something went a little
wrong with the top left corners of the
pictures, but I don't even care :)!
I can't wait to buy more and different
types of film and experiment like crazy!

Yes Magazine
Hello everyone,
it's Tuesday!
I guess you already knew that :).
Normally, I post tutorials on Tuesday,
but I just feel like writing a little and
maybe later or this evening I'll post
a tutorial :). This week, my article in
Yes magazine came out! I'm so proud
of it! Run to the store if you want
to see it ;)! I realise that only counts
for Dutchies, but I'll post a scanned version
next week :D! I so hope that I'm allowed
to post more pictures that were taken that
day some time. I talked it over with Jeltje,
the photographer, but she wasn't really sure.
I'm going to my neighbour now for a cuppa tea!

Cute shop : Made By White
Boy do I have a treat for you! You are gonna love this!
I ran in to this shop via 'The Storybook rabbit'
on Etsy, a little spin-off from Made by White
and also very worth looking at. But first
this shop! Made By White is quirky, silly, cute,
funny and soooo pretty!
Behind Made By White are two cute girls
named Lyndsay and Kelly. Everything on
Made by White is drawned originally and
handmade by them.
I'm so in love with their style!
It's pure art! Lyndsay and Kelly find
inspiration everywhere they look, creating
designs based on nature, animals, fairytales,
childhood memories and storybooks.
They also run a lovely and inspiring blog
right here. And connected to their
website are two other lovely shops
you ought to take a look at :)!

The storybook rabbit sells pretty vintage
plates hand drawn by Kelly. I want them all :)!

Today's Thrift Finds
Did a little thrift shopping today :)!
I went with my friend Lucia to 'Leerdam'
and 'Zaltbommel'. I've never been in both
thriftstores and it wasn't bad! I found some
pretty cute stuff, whoopee! We didn't have time
for our third thriftshop-stop but all in all it
was a very nice day. Want to see my finds?
An old leather book bag, a vintage craft book,
a cute kitty pillow, 4 vintage flowery cards,
a doggy and kitty figurine, a vintage fabric box
and two cute vintage fabrics.

And the best has yet to come;
I am a hard core skirt girl, I maybe
have 2 trousers in my possession which
rarely see daylight :p. A cute skirt
in the style I like is hard to come by
so I tried to make one myself once.
It worked out fine, but it was a lot
of work though! And you know me,
I just like easy peasy!
So when I found this 5 minute skirt
tutorial from Amy I was ecstatic!!!
I still have to give it a try but I'm
sure it will be much more fun than
my first skirt.
